Je suis en France !

Je suis en France ! C'est super. Hier, mon frère et ma soeur d'acceuil m'ont rencontré à l'Institut de Touraine. Le prof ne m'a pas dit ça. Mais c'est d'accord parce qu'il n'habite pas toujours chez ses parents. Il a assisté une grande école à La Rochelle. Ils ont une voiture très petite. Toutes les voitures en France sont très petites. Ma famille n'était pas ici pour la plupart de la journée. Le père est médecin et la mère est infirmière. Le père est un chirurgien pour les genoux et il travaille à Paris. La mère travaille à Tours. Mon frère m'a invité à KFC avec ses amis pour le dîner, mais j'ai mangé avec mes parents. Ils sont très, très, très sympathiques. Ils m'ont dit que je suis "bien-eduqué" et que je parle français mieux que leurs autres étudiants américains. Après le dîner, qui était vers 20h, mes parents m'a conduit à la Place Plumereau. J'y ai trouvé un autre étudiant de MSU et ses camarades de chambre qui sont aussi des Etats-Unis. Nous sommes allés au bar et puis au club. Le club était très petit, mais il y a beaucoup de gens après minuit.

I'm in France! It's great! Yesterday, my host brother and sister met me at the Institut de Touraine. The professor didn't tell me I had a host brother, but it's ok because he doesn't live with his parents most of the time. He's attending an elite school in La Rochelle. My brother and sister picked me up from the Institut, not my parents. They have a very, very small car. In fact, all the cars in France are really small. For most of the day, my family wasn't here. The father is a doctor and the mother is a nurse. The father is a knee surgeon in Paris. The mother works in Tours. My brother invited me to KFC with his friends for dinner, but I ate with my parents. They're really, really nice. They told me I'm well-educated and that I speak French better than their own American students. After dinner, which was around 8PM, my parents drove me to Place Plumereau. There I found another MSU student and his roommates who were also American. We went to the bar and then to the club. The club was small, but there was a lot of people after midnight.
